	PSTN calls are cheaper!
	When you want to reach somebody who has a plain old telephone number (no SIP address) the call must go through the regular telephone wirings (PSTN), which involves some costs. However, it does not have to do that the whole way. By using SIP parts of the telephone call can be routed through Internet instead of PSTN, making it cheaper for the SIP user.
	Long distance PSTN calls are much cheaper!
	When it comes to long distance communication you can really save money. If the person you want to communicate with also uses SIP the call will be totally free of charge. Also, you can get SIP accounts with suitable SIP providers having good PSTN connectivity in the countries you communicate with. The long distance part of the call will go over Internet and you will only have to use PSTN locally, paying only local rates instead of long distance rates.

	No PSTN wirings or PSTN operator!
	To use SIP you only need a broadband connection, which means you don't have to install any costly wirings for PSTN. And, since you don't need any PSTN wirings you don't need a PSTN operator either. This way you don't have to pay the fixed monthly or quarterly fees the operator charges for providing the telephony service.
